The organisation was founded in 1990 and the mean age of our membership is
between 15 and 27. We recognise as ours the modern, European socialist idea
and intend to work on the left side of the political and social spectrum in
Slovenia. We are organised at a national, regional and local level.

The Youth Forum is not a classical youth party, it is rather an organisation
carrying on a wide spectrum of activities, through which every young person
can realise its interests, take party in youth policy-making and enjoy in
the company of other friends - commerades.

The Youth Forum of the ULSD is a full member of IUSY (International Union of
Socialist Youth) and of ECOSY (European Community
Organisation of Socialist Youth) and a founder member of the Youth Council of Slovenia.
